Frem Civic Center
The Frem Civic Center was inaugurated at LAU Byblos campus on June 2, 2011 after seven years in the making since being founded by Georges N. Frem in 2004.
The Frem Civic Center is 5 stories high and 5,240 square meters in size with classrooms, lecture halls and conference rooms equipped with the latest technologies.
Its purpose is to foster civic society among students by organizing and hosting events and academic courses on civic responsibility, leadership, transparency, ethical and sound governance practices to strengthen the pluralistic democracy of Lebanon and develop a deeper understanding of the responsibilities of citizens in nation and institution building.
